Setter Saviours is a small, passionate rescue charity that gives abandoned and abused dogs, mainly English Setters from the Balkans, a second chance at life. When they first got in touch with me, it was clear they were doing incredible work on the ground, but their website just wasn’t reflecting that. It felt dated and disjointed, and most importantly, it wasn’t helping them connect with the people who wanted to help. Potential adopters struggled to find the application form, and visitors were leaving without taking action.

From the beginning, I knew this wasn’t just about making something that looked nicer - it was about building trust, making things simple, and giving the charity a platform that truly supported its mission. I started by designing a new logo to give Setter Saviours a more professional, unified identity. I wanted it to feel warm and hopeful, but also solid - something that could sit confidently on an adoption booth banner or merchandise.

The website itself was a completely fresh build, designed from the ground up with one clear goal: to connect more dogs with loving homes. I wanted it to appeal to anyone thinking about adopting, whether they were already familiar with the charity or just starting their search. Every available dog is now showcased front and centre, with big, emotive images and easy-to-read profiles that help visitors get to know each dog’s personality. The entire site is built to guide people gently but purposefully toward taking action, whether that’s applying to adopt, offering to foster, or making a donation.

The difference after launch was immediate. Setter Saviours saw a marked increase in adoption applications, and the team began receiving feedback from users who found the new site simple, intuitive, and inviting. The charity told me they’d never had so many positive responses from potential adopters.

Projects like this are exactly why I do what I do. Good design isn’t just about aesthetics - it’s about creating real-world impact. And in this case, it helps more dogs find the homes they deserve.
